Senior or Principal Product Manager, Marketing Workflow Applications Responsys
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Overview:
Responsys was built with the mission to change the way that the world does marketing in the digital age. We?re a cloud software company that?s helping companies take advantage of technologies like email, mobile, social, display, and the web to drive up revenues and build lasting relationships with consumers.
After a successful IPO in 2011, we?ve got our eye on becoming the first billion-dollar cloud marketing company. Our customers think we?re changing the game. The analysts agree. And our employees love the journey we?re on. We need rock stars who want to make the dream a reality.
Named a visionary by Gartner and a leader by Forrester, Responsys (NASDAQ: MKTG) enables companies to use interactive digital technology to build loyal relationships with their customers. Marketers use our on-demand application suite, Responsys Interact, to understand and interact with customers as individuals across email, mobile, social, web, and display advertising.
Our team and technology are frequent industry award winners, and our client base is world-class--for example, United Airlines, LinkedIn, LEGO, Orbitz, Southwest Airlines, Dollar Thrifty, Newegg, Qantas, Avis Europe, Deutsche Lufthansa, UnitedHealthcare and American Family Mutual Insurance Company. As of 2013, we are on a six-year run of profitable growth, serving market opportunities that we believe are still young and fast evolving.
Responsys's Interact Suite has a marketing-workflow infrastructure, Interact Program, at its foundation. You can see it in this brief video that explains Responsys's value proposition and product.
Marketers use Interact Program to define multi-stage, multi-channel interactions with their customers. For example, if a customer registers on the marketer's Web site, Interact Program can be triggered in real time to respond with the appropriate communication based on the customer's stated preferences and the marketer's business objectives. This communication might start with an email and then have multiple steps of listening, responding, and adapting, including in other channels such as SMS and display ads. The purpose is to automate doing the right thing for the customer's unique interests and preferences. The infrastructural challenge is to support concurrent execution of thousands of such programs, each with dozens to millions of distinct customer states.
This product-management position owns the strategy, requirements, roadmap, and execution with Engineering of Interact Program's application experience: what Interact Program does for the end user, the functional design of the workflow user interface, and the definition of higher-level workflow templates and applications for specific industries or marketing goals. This position requires multiple years of experience product-managing an enterprise CRM (customer-relationship management), enterprise campaign-management, or enterprise interactive-marketing product. Title and compensation are commensurate with experience.
