Job Description: We are currently seeking a Senior PHP/LAMP/Drupal Developer. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years experience designing web based applications in PHP5 or higher. Strong experience with Drupal and MySQL are a necessity. The ideal candidate will not be limited to heads down coding, but should also have experience with designing solutions and writing documentation in a Rapid Application Development environment. In addition, the developer will work with business clients through all stages of the software development cycle and assist in requirements gathering to system design and implementation, documentation, and translation of functional requirements into development specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide PHP programming and functional testing for a variety of consumer-related websites and web-based applications
Create web applications and implement web interfaces using Drupal, as well as stand-alone web applications
Development of system architecture
Database development and management
Experience with or able to quickly learn high-volume and high-availability software engineering techniques
Collaborates with various outsource vendors to ensure the required features and modifications are developed
Keeps informed of status of projects and makes recommendations as necessary.
Keeps informed of new developments, trends and recommends computer operation expansion or replacements based on current and projected activity.
Monitors product development from initiation and planning through completion.
Ensures software projects are completed and properly documented according to product specifications, time lines, and corporate quality standards.

Education Level:
Bachelors degree preferred
Computer Skills:
Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, shell scripts, HTML/XHTML, CSS, SOAP/REST
Expert-level Drupal developer with 4+ years of experience.
Experience working in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment with basic Linux server admin knowledge
Experience working with various web technologies such and JavaScript and JQuery
Experience working at the upper levels of system architecture, dealing with programming that involves multiple complex systems
Experience with software development best practices
Expert-level PHP/MySQL programmer with 4+ years of experience
Experience working with version control systems (SVN)
Experience dealing with multiple tier deployment (Dev, QA, Stage, Production)
Experience working in production level applications with direct customer exposure
Experience working with outsource vendors and provide technical leadership
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communicational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
