DescriptionAnvato is looking for a talented Senior PHP/MySQL Software Engineer with strong OO skills.
4+ years of hands-on experience.

The primary responsibility is to work on our web-based award winning video analytics application and to extend our video management platform with new features.
You will be structuring and implementing algorithms to solve back-end engineering problems. You will be working directly with the research team, a team of top engineers in their fields.
Required Skills
- A BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a top engineering school (or equivalent combination of education and experience). No exceptions.
- At least 4 years of web application development experience in PHP/MySQL.
- Rigorous understanding of Object Oriented Programming Skills.
- Model-View-Controller Pattern Web Programming Experience.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Engineers with less experience are encouraged to apply if they possess excellent academic record from a top engineering school.
Desired Skills
- Experience using templating systems such as Smarty Templating Engine.
- Experience working with JavaScript (especially jQuery/AJAX).
- Excellent knowledge of Linux development environment and open source tools/platforms.
