Senior Platform Engineer Intelleflex

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Collaborate with cross functional team members to deliver innovative product features.
? Deliver full lifecycle feature development - requirements analysis, design and production code implementation with accompanying unit an integration tests.
? Prototype and assess new technologies and product concepts.
? Propose functional and non-functional requirements in order to deliver the appropriate technology solution.
? Participate in release, daily planning activities to align engineering efforts with business goals.
? Mentor senior and junior team members, assisting them with the implementation of chosen technologies.
? Provide hands-on coding expertise in a variety of platforms & languages to build the simplest solution that meets business needs.
Skills/Requirements
? Significant track record of providing technical leadership in the development of complex data collection system based on globally distributed mobile or fixed end devices.
? Proven effectiveness in mentoring senior and junior developers on production software and unit/integration test design and implementation.
? Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing software solutions that meet system performance goals.
? Expert in object-oriented design and enterprise application patterns.
? Strong knowledge of RDBMS and PL/SQL.
? Java and C++/C# hands-on coding expertise on both Windows and Linux platforms.
? Proficient in designing and developing platform SDK and web services.
? Demonstrated ability to rapidly absorb product knowledge with the end goal of being recognized as a product expert.
? 10+ years experience defining, architecting and implementing complex systems software products.
? Software company & startup experience.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Experience with Software as a Service and Platform as a Service solutions models is a plus.
? High energy impact player with contagious passion for delivering innovative software solutions.
