About the job
Platform engineers work closely with our web, mobile and games teams. We write code that ends up being used by a wide range of users on lots of different platforms. This position allows you to craft elegant, blazingly fast, and extremely reliable solutions to complex problems. You won't simply be implementing someone else's designs; you will collaborate with the rest of the team to plan and build the best possible solutions.
About you
You started writing code before iPhones were cool and you have...
built and consumed high-performance, scalable and dependable web services
written clean, manageable object oriented code using a language such as PHP, Python, Perl or Ruby as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented, development team
developed a fondness for industry best practices such as unit testing, peer review and version control
a hunger for new technologies and techniques that you find hard to control
