Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Pricing Application Analyst to join a Global Solutions Delivery project team to gather and document new customer business requirements as we prepare to implement our pricing software. This individual will play a critical role in developing a comprehensive document of customer business requirements and work with the project team to successfully implement the solution. Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex business requirement discussions and gather, evaluate and document customer business needs and requirements
Produce high quality functional requirements documentation employing requirements tools and templates
Demonstrate software in the context of client requirements and value proposition
Perform business analysis in the implementation phase of client lifecycle
Prepare and conduct user training and user acceptance testing
Identify/recommend improvements to requirements gathering tools, templates and processes
Leverage and contribute to corporate knowledge assets
Develop product and domain knowledge expertise
Skills Required:
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a business or technical discipline
Five - six years of relevant experience in job offered or a similar role in pricing applications/analytics or in software professional services/consulting
Work experience must be with or providing services/consulting to manufacturing companies in one or more of the following industry groups: industrial, high tech, chemical, automotive, medical products, packaging or consumer packaged goods
Work experience must include presentations to business groups and preferably to senior management level audiences
Requires demonstrated experience documenting business requirements â€" must be able to produce samples of written documentation
Work experience in pricing, marketing, finance or related domain areas is preferred with some knowledge of pricing best practices
Work experience in applications implementation in pricing, marketing, or related CRM domain areas is preferred
Work experience in applications development with Enterprise software products such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, etc. is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in conducting End-User Training and/or User Acceptance Testing is desired
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-energy and fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
