Description: Quanterix is an exciting early stage company whose mission is to develop a gamechanging platform that combines proprietary singlemolecule sensitivity, multiplexing, and full automation. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior/Principal Scientist to join our Assay Development Group. If you have experience in the in vitro diagnostics industry and infectious disease assay development, this could be a very exciting position for you.
Responsibilities will broadly include using Quanterixs proprietary technology to develop and validate a panel of infectious disease IVD assays with an objective of meeting regulatory requirements for commercialization. You will apply your experience and scientific skills in all phases of IVD product development: concept, feasibility, design and development, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer and commercialization.
Requirements: M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Science. Greater than 5 years of experience in the in vitro diagnostic industry. Supervisory/leadership capacity. Experience in infectious disease assay development. Experience in IVD product development including: reagent development and optimization, assay protocol optimization, DOE principles, migration of manual assays to automated instrumentation, specifications development, statistical methods, verification and validation protocol writing and execution, conformance with IVD design control regulations. Experience with multiplexing a big plus.
You need excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well within crossfunctional teams as a team player. A strong work ethic, the ability to generate high quality data under tight deadlines, and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
