Description: Quanterix is an exciting early stage company whose mission is to develop a game-changing platform that combines proprietary single-molecule sensitivity, multiplexing, and full automation. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior/Principal Scientist to join our Assay Development Group. If you have expertise developing bead-based and multiplexed immunoassays (eg. Luminex platform), this could be a very exciting position for you.
Responsibilities will broadly include using Quanterix?s proprietary technology to develop and validate multiplex panels of assays for life science and in vitro diagnostics (IVD). IVD assays will be developed with an objective of meeting regulatory requirements for commercialization. You will apply your laboratory skills and experience in all phases of IVD product development; concept, feasibility, design and development, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer and commercialization.
Requirements: M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Science. Greater than 7 years of experience in the life science or vitro diagnostic industry. Extensive experience developing multiplexed immunoassays. Demonstrated leadership capacity. Experience in RUO or IVD product development including: reagent development and optimization, assay protocol optimization, DOE principles, migration of manual assays to automated instrumentation, verification and validation protocol development and execution, familiarity with design control principles. Familiarity with regulatory aspects of multiplexing desirable.
You need excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well within cross-functional teams as a team player. A strong work ethic, the ability to generate high quality data under tight deadlines, and a collaborative and proactive attitude are all must-haves.
