Responsiblities:
The position will play a key role in defining, designing and developing the new platform for NICE Contact Analytics product. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design and develop the next generation platform in an Agile development environment.
? Define, design and develop NICE?s next generation platform that will process and analyze large volumes of data from disparate systems
? Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clearly understand business objectives, customer needs, and product requirements
? Define, analyze, and review software requirements for next generation analytics platform
? Drive technical design to consensus and approval with cross-functional teams
? Drive technical due diligence of technologies, applications and vendors and make analytical recommendations
Requirements:
? 7+ years of experience going through all software development phases in a successful commercial software companies developing complex and scalable web applications
? Working knowledge with web services implementations (e.g. REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, SOA, etc.)
? Demonstrated experience in building large-scale enterprise applications using J2EE technologies
? Solid command of design patterns and OOP
? Experience with data warehousing concepts/methodologies highly desirable
? Great verbal and written communication skills
? Work effectively individually as well as collaboratively
? Self starter, fast learner, and hard working
? Readiness to work and collaborate with remote teams
? Ability to give accurate development time estimates, keep projects on track, and give early warning when adjustments are needed
? Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
? Experience in one or more of the following are pluses: SOA, Hadoop/MapReduce, NoSQL, cloud computing and Business Intelligence.
Education:
? Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields; advanced degree a plus
