Princeton Optronics is a privately held company engaged in the development and manufacture of high power vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) devices.We are seeking a highly qualified individual, with strong hands-on experience (>5 years) in GaAs semiconductor device processing, particularly laser devices. A B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, or related field is required. Experience with VCSELs is strongly desired, however, experience with edge emitting device processing or GaAs IC processing or InGaAs detector array processing will be considered favorably. A good track record of successful process development and problem solving, and experience in production environment is required. Individual will be part of the team developing our next generation of high-power lasers and transitioning them to production. Responsibilities include improving existing processes and yields, and developing new processes. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.
