Senior Product Applications Engineer Link_A_Media Devices
Job descriptionThe successful candidate will participate and support SoC bring-up for SSD and eMMC product development and verification. The Engineer will support reference design, review customer's designs and resolve customer issues from product development to mass production.
Resposibilities also include to work closely with various internal teams such as Design Engineering, Validation/Test Engineering for new silicon and board bring-up, reference design performance verification, write technical papers, application notes, user instructions, participate in project conference calls and conducting necessary technical training internally or externally.
The engineer may travel to customer sites to build strong relations with technical decision makers, and will perform technical support to sales and marketing teams for design-win and market exploration.
Desired Skills & Experience
BSEE with 7 years of experience or MSEE with 5 years of experience
Minimum of 2 years in the area of Flash / SSD technology
Knowledge of NAND flash fundamentals
Experience with the schematics and layout of memory or high speed IO product
Experience with high speed interface and serial protocols test and debug using an oscilloscope and logic analyzer
Familiar with PC system architecture and Windows/Linux OS environment
Proficient in C/C++, Python, Perl, etc.
Experience with high speed interfaces such as SATA, PCI-e, SAS, eMMC
Strong written and oral communication skill in English
Willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment
