JOB DESCRIPTION:
Nurses and clinicians who are Senior Product Consultants are the primary resource for the field sales force during customer-facing activities, such as demos and solution planning. SPCs are responsible for actively driving and managing the overall product evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key advisor and product advocate for our products. The SPC must be able to articulate clinical content, clinical solutions, operational efficiencies, advanced administrative concepts, and product positioning to both business and clinical users. Must be able to identify all product, clinical, and operational issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
- Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
- Responsible for building and maintaining a full-feature product demo and database and adjusting each demo to the unique requirements of the potential client
- Responsible for representing the product to potential customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
- Able to respond to functional, administrative, and clinical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Able to participate in and add value to clinical content requirement gathering sessions
- Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management team
- Able to travel throughout sales territory
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in healthcare software sales and knowledge of progressive enterprise-wide solutions. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to email, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for extensive travel.
- 3-5 years relevant experience in software vendor sales
- Experience and familiarity with the healthcare payer market along with knowledge of our products and care management solution line of business
- LPN, NP, or RN degree preferred.
