ePrize is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to drive the conceptual and technical evolution of the ePrize Technology Platform. The Platform is the core, enabling element that allows ePrize to provide a set of common services that will be used by internal teams and customers to create, deploy and operate the next generation of promotion and loyalty products. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with Architecture and Engineering teams, Product Management, and Sales and Marketing to guide the development of core platform functions and common product offerings. You will be responsible for driving both evolutionary and revolutionary change to our platform. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in product management of a SaaS product, an understanding of the digital marketing space, a deep understanding of customer and technical needs, and have the ability to build great products.
Description and Responsibilities:
Participate in developing the overall platform product strategy and roadmap.
Create, execute and communicate the multi-year roadmap; proactively conceive, document and drive the creation of new features to achieve our product goals.
Prioritize product enhancements as well as customer and partner requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
Provide mentoring and guidance for the product and technology by participating in discussions and design reviews across the organization.
The initial focus will be to evaluate and participate in an architecture review of our existing platform and related software and services infrastructure. This will provide the foundation to lead the charge to advance the platform to solve new challenges and leverage new technologies.
This role will not have direct reports initially, but may over time.
Job Specifications and Competencies:
Bachelor of Science in Business or Engineering
At least 7 years technical product management, product development, or technical professional services experience (must possess a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes)
Demonstrated knowledge of a SaaS product, architecture and deployment concepts
Experience building scalable, self-service SaaS applications is preferred
Strong knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem and fluency with common web technologies
Demonstrated ability to differentiate between and build ?Platforms? vs. ?Products? with experience managing the development of internally used platforms and services
Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills
Ability to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult tradeoff decisions.
Aptitude to make recommendations and decisions independently
Experience selling ideas to management and making convincing arguments for the direction of products and platforms
A track record of successfully working with other product and business organizations, architecture, development, and QA to deliver high quality products and platforms
Strong organizational skills in task prioritization, effective time management, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and risk identification/mitigation
