The Senior Product Manager runs the day-to-day operations of the platform and its products finding ways to make the company more productive by providing effective methods in its business operations. The individual in this position will be responsible for the Third Party Financial Services Product Line including, but not limited to, product implementations and daily operations. Additionally, they will be responsible for controlling inventory, handling logistics and supervising other employees on the Financial Services Operations third party card team. The individual will have a strong leadership background and must know how to handle problems quickly and efficiently. In addition, he/she must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
The responsibilities are:
Manage the daily operations by interfacing with all areas of the company to ensure that the platform is performing at its peak efficiency, and we are serving partners in a manner which meets their expectations.
Manage team members on the FS Operations third party team. Allocate workload, train, evaluate and direct the team for optimal results.
Perform operational troubleshooting to identify, define, and solve problems
Act as the Implementation Manager, owning the process, until the product is successfully implemented
Interface with industry partners. Gathering program requirements, defining scope, and ensuring successful implementation.
Fostering continuous process improvement in the engagement, boarding and implementation of products and services.
Build and maintain a shared knowledge library of best practice materials related to his/her platform and products to ensure repeatable, successful operations and implementations.
Promote the product internally working with Sales and Marketing; educating them on the platform and product features.
Support Account Managers in their requests for product support from merchant partners
Routinely work with a variety of providers (internal and/or external) in product operations, enhancements, and implementation
Identify, document and manage the implementation of projects to enhance and update the product line
Work with Customer Service to provide support as the platform and/or product expert
Provide regular reporting to management on the platform and products
Provide account management to assigned customers during and after implementation as assigned. Provide a single point of contact for relationship management and issues resolution, being fully accountable for the success of the platform and/or its products
Be a subject matter expert on the platform, products and capabilities
Ability to implement fully compliant products and programs including knowledge of card production procedures.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum five (5) years? experience managing or supporting prepaid products, preferably within retail.
Experience with financial card issuing.
Experience working with Network brands (Visa, MC, Discover, Amex)
Experience with Prepaid product compliance and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to create requirements documents, process documentation, develop and analyze reports
Proficient with general computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to work with different departments (marketing, IT, fraud, finance, service) to support the platform
Demonstrated: creative thinking and initiative; ability to drive change
Must be able to manage multiple projects
Must be process driven with focus on continuous process improvement
Must be able to manage the entire platform and its products with limited supervision
Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams during implementation process

Must be willing and able to ?own? the platform, implementations, and the expected results.
