Senior Product Manager Endplay
As a member of the EndPlay Product Management team, you will act as a driving force for the design, process, development, quality assurance and marketing of products as they move from conceptualization to deployment and distribution. You will be instrumental in organizing cross-departmental activities that drive exceptional communication and education, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
This job is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced product management skills as well as industry expertise, technical acumen, passion-filled drive and an inherent desire to build impactful and market-transforming software. Most importantly, you must have a good sense of humor and a fierce desire to work in an extremely fast-paced start-up environment with a client-first culture.
Your initial responsibilities will focus on the enterprise side of the content management space, specifically concentrating on mobile accessibility within the CPG and retail verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Master and understand all EndPlay products and services
- Create products and features that extend, compliment and evolve the EndPlay Platform; and contribute to the disruption of the CMS space
- Analyze and integrate external customer specifications
- Suggest and justify product directions and requirements
- Specify, design and implement changes to existing Platform functionality
- Review development plans and project plans
- Review integration and test plans created by Quality Assurance
- Author product requirements documents with prioritized features in formats that can be used throughout the organization (engineering & QA, professional services, sales, client services, etc.)
- Support the EndPlay Professional Services team and participate in the statement of work (SOW) process
- Work with third parties/partners to deliver top-class solutions
- Contribute to the development of the product roadmap
- Conduct user research, market research, usability studies and A/B testing
- Anything else that arises that will help drive the EndPlay business forward
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the content management space (players, features, services, trends)
- BS/MBA/MS in computer science
- Minimum of 7 years product management experience
- CMS and enterprise experience
- Mobile, smart phone and tablet experience important
- Vertical market expertise in media, CPG and/or retail a plus
- Practical use of analytics to drive sound product strategy and execution
- Passion for building world-class products
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Proactive, innovative, results-oriented and entrepreneurial approach
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Hands-on technical background
