Senior Product Manager Guardian Analytics
We are seeking an accomplished senior product manager who will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support. Guardian Analytics? solution often works in conjunction with core banking, Internet banking and payments platforms, as well as complementary security and fraud technologies. Focused on stopping online banking crime, Guardian Analytics was founded to turn traditional online security and fraud prevention upside down. The company delivered the market's first behavioral analytics fraud prevention solution and revolutionized the industry with a SaaS-based rapid deployment model, and is recognized by Gartner as a thought leader in its category.
As Product Manager, you will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new products based on your financial industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. In addition to defining product requirements, you will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering working with the sales channel and key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Driving a solution set across development teams through market requirements, product specifications, and positioning.
Developing and implementing a go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Requirements:
5 to 7 years of financial services technology, fraud and/or payments experience
Knowledgeable in technology
This position requires some minor travel to sites in North America
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
Group facilitation and time management skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation
Be a highly motivated self-starter able to work in a fast paced environment
