So, what will you do?
Own the P&L and product management oversight for a significant piece of IMVU?s growing business. You?re not afraid of making your number(s).
Internalize IMVU customer needs by segment and use that knowledge to develop fun and delightful online experiences. You know how to walk in your customers? virtual shoes.
Lead cross-functional teams to launch and continuously improve IMVU features and functionality. You play nice with the other kids (i.e., market and user research, interaction/visual design, engineering, marketing/PR, customer support, community management, billing/operations, and data analytics).
Ruthlessly prioritize a product backlog that balances user, business, and technical needs. You?re good at saying no to get us all where we need to go.
Define, track, and report on key business and product success metrics. You like to know how you?re doing.
Formulate business cases for new products, create innovative ways to monetize IMVU user activity, and help craft a compelling long-term vision for IMVU?s products. You don?t just take orders.

4+ years of online product management experience in profitable, high-traffic consumer Internet services, game companies, or fast-growing internet startups.
Direct experience owning product development within an agile/scrum development process.
Results-oriented ability to get things done in a fluid start-up environment with limited resources.
Strong quantitative analytical skills and a relentless attention to operating and usage metrics to identify opportunities for product optimization and business growth.
Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategic thinking and take-charge management of day-to-day details; Equally comfortable with seeing the ?big picture? and meticulously thinking through every interaction requirement of online development projects.
A positive, no-drama-or-politics, get-things-done working style. You are not afraid to evangelize company goals and a ?do-it-right-the-first-time? ethic to everyone on the team.
Extremely strong written & verbal communication skills.
Strong awareness of current web technologies, trends, products, and design standards.
Previous experience with online communities, social networking, entertainment/media, virtual goods/worlds, social/casual gaming, mobile gaming, 3D authoring/rendering technologies, and/or online subscription products is a plus.
BA/BS required, MBA and/or engineering/CS degrees a plus.
