Senior Product Manager
Position Summary
ezprints makes personalization possible anywhere consumers are online with a full spectrum of technology products and fulfillment services. This position directly impacts ezprints strategic direction.
Our product development organization drives our businesses by developing products that enable the creation of personalized products anywhere consumers are online. We develop both technology and physical products.
A successful candidate will be a collaborative, results-driven, consumer-centric leader who can transform ideas, customer needs and requests into cohesive, detailed business, product and technical interface requirements and prioritize well to deliver features and functionality that capture the largest growth opportunities for the company. A successful candidate will be data-driven with a strong technical background.
The candidate will lead the product management of our existing portfolio and any new products added. He or she will manage a manage a roadmap and drive results through influence across the organization
Responsibilities
Own competitive analysis and market opportunity definition for technical products
Drive designing and creating requirements for the next generation product line.
Monitor and incorporate industry innovations, conduct technology assessments, and analyze the competitive landscape
Drive the product development lifecycle for product portfolio - acting as the business owner for the company.
Coordinate with other teams, customers and business leadership to assess market drivers and determine and quantify business opportunities that are beneficial to ezprints and our partners.
Write product requirements and user stories to communicate customer needs and create alignment among the stakeholders and development team
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog on an ongoing basis, ensuring the most important requirements are always being worked on.
Prepare for the Kanban planning meetings by progressively decomposing requirements prior to the meeting in order to create a smooth flow of work.
Actively monitor the implementation of each product project; Clarify requirements when questions arise and review work results to ensure performance and functional requirements are being met.
Requirements
2-5 + years of product development experience in consumer-focused companies
Deep technical experience,CS degree or hands on software development experience required
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of product P&L.
Meticulous attention to details and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
Excellent teamwork
A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities
Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must have bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Successful experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodologies writing user stories and using prototypes to effectively communicate unambiguous requirements to development teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent technical experience is required. Masters degree desired.
Interest and knowledge in personalized product technology, particularly digital photography and self publishing is helpful
