Trustwave seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead Trustwave?s payment encryption product line. Primary responsibilities include contributing to product strategy definition, establishing and managing relationships with payment processing partners and customers, gathering market requirements, and building roadmaps. Responsibilities also include actively participating in business development activities and articulating the product vision and strengths to marketing analysts and customers.
The Senior Product Manager will report to the VP of Product Management that leads the company?s efforts for Trustwave?s data and network security products. The Senior Product Manager must have a unique blend of business savvy and technical acumen in order to influence and lead a cross functional team to achieve strategic business objectives. The Senior Product Manager works closely with customers, partners, and internal resources to analyze market problems and identify new opportunities. This is a high-profile, high-impact role within a rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Be a company expert on the payment encryption market, target customer needs, and the competition?s products and business strategies
Ensure that the product meets or exceeds key metrics involving revenue, profit, development cost, schedule, and functionality
Gather, track, and prioritize market requirements and produce product roadmaps
Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Research , facilitate and manage technology and payment processing partnerships
Work with product and corporate marketing teams on go-to-market strategy
Define product support processes and service levels
Support certain sales activities as a product expert
Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and bring exceptional products to market
Required qualifications
A passion for understanding and solving customer problems
5 or more years of relevant product management experience for a payment security product or payment processing product
Be process-oriented and driven to achieve strategic goals
Excellent communication skills including ability to lead discussions and influence decisions
Ability to create and give presentations to a variety of audiences
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic company
BA/BS in computer science or engineering
Plusses
Extensive knowledge of the security and payments markets, including drivers, issues, technology and trends
CISSP or other security certifications
MBA or MSCS/EE
General skills:
Self-starter with ability to prioritize many projects and problems independently, as they arise
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
Occasional overnight travel to other Trustwave offices, domestic and international, may be required
