The Senior Product Manager position requires an energetic, experienced self-starter with a track record of quick learning and increasing levels of responsibility. The candidate should be passionate about creating high-quality, usable products that drive the growth of the Rubicon?s advertising technology products. While Rubicon is headquartered in Los Angeles, we would also consider candidates based in Seatlle, San Francisco, or New York for this role.Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the full product lifecycle of assigned products, including idea, specification, design, launch and maintenance phases
Work closely with technology partners to manage all stages of the product development process
Identify and analyze new product ideas and opportunities
Work with multiple cross-functional teams to elicit, understand, rationalize and prioritize requests for new functionality
Write PRDs and make tradeoff decisions between functionality and resources/time frames
Work with other functional areas to gather intelligence on competitive offerings and new industry trends and synthesize competitive findings
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with 3+ years as a product manager in the enterprise software industry or in an internet-based software company
Passion for creating world-class products
Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence executives, business leaders, and technology leaders within a matrixed organization
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Analytic mind & strong problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats
Strong product/project management skills. Proven experience managing complex projects to successful completion.
Ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns
Direct experience with one online advertising products is preferred
