Opportunity Overview:
As Senior Product Manager, you will work with customers and internal stakeholders, including a team of world class software engineers (both in the US and in India) focused on driving innovation and thought leadership in Noetix Analytics, the premier data warehouse and enterprise data integration solution for Oracle E-Business Suite customers. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy and roadmap. You will enhance Analytics? revenue contribution and profitability. You will define product requirements and directions from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time (some travel is required) in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
Core Deliverables and Responsibilities:
Noetix Analytics development ? Own the product roadmap and Market Requirements Document (MRD); collaborate with project leads on Project Requirement Documents (PRD); develop primary user stories; work with Program Manager and project team to assure success; manage beta programs and be a member of product release teams.
Product Marketing ? Work with Marketing team to create Noetix Analytics statements of direction, data sheets, white papers, presentations, press releases, marketing campaigns and promotions, and web seminars.
Sales support ? Build effective relationship with Sales team. Provide pre-sales support as needed using your product knowledge and industry and domain expertise. Assist in defining product packaging and pricing; develop product positioning and sales collateral; provide product training; attend conferences and trade shows.
Consulting support ? Provide training on new features, best practices, and industry concepts; troubleshoot implementation issues when called upon; mine Consulting team for product feedback and new ideas.
Customer relations ? Build rapport with customers and work to understand their needs; evangelize all Noetix products and road map; mine customers for new requirements and product ideas; perform customer surveys; participate in resolution of escalated customer issues.
Documentation ? Identify documentation requirements for new and existing features; review materials produced by technical writers including product manuals and release notes; share product knowledge and domain expertise as needed.
Technology partner management ? Assist Noetix Program Management with managing technology partner relationships; participate in co-marketing activities and product training as needed.
Position Qualifications:
10+ years experience in commercial software industry
5+ years of Product Management experience is required
Data warehousing applications knowledge is required
Functional expertise in one or more business areas such as Human Resources, Financials, Manufacturing or Supply Chain is preferred
Experience with leading BI tools from Oracle, Informatica, IBM, and SAP is required
Proven success defining and launching commercial software products
Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or other leading ERP solution is preferred
Strong Oracle database and tools knowledge is preferred
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
Education / Training / Certification:
Business Degree or Software Engineering Degree or commensurate professional experience.
