Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? As a Sr. Enterprise Software Product Manager, work in
conjunction with the Product Management team to drive the
creation and execution of the product roadmap for complex
global product lines across multiple regions, and multiple
channels
? Develop detailed requirements and stories for the
development team to ensure scalable, reliable enterprise
software.
? Technically research competitors? products, assesses
competitive advantages and determine what product features
and functionality will be built.
? Interact and work closely with customers, regional teams,
partners, and Business Unit functional teams to define,
document, and prioritize customer/partner requirements to
ensure the successful delivery of iControl Enterprise software
to the market.
? Manage & resolve cross-organization issues to ensure
success and escalate when necessary to ensure effective
delivery of the solutions.
? Work closely with Operations and Support team to ensure that
their requirements are met to allow for high availability,
scalable, and high-quality releases and ensuring an excellent
customer experience.
? Play a proactive role in product & sprint planning and design to
ensure the product meets requirements.
? Provide input to the SCRUM Master and the program
management team on resource negotiation, managing
workloads, and setting schedules
? Involved throughout the entire lifecycle of the assigned
products, working closely with engineering teams from product
initiation to delivery and eventual product retirement
? Be the product expert, product champion, and overall go-to
person within the organization as it relates to core software
platform.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
? Background in enterprise software/cloud services and networking
? Strong technical knowledge and ability to work closely with
software engineers and customer IT teams.
? Excellent written and oral communications skills; Effective
presentation skills
? Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
? Ability to effectively work in a complex matrix organization with
multiple regional and channel components
? Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) on an as-needed
basis (no more than 35% of time)
? Self-starter, self-managing, very action-oriented, very resultsoriented
? Strong team player
? Knowledge and experience with agile development processes
Education and Experience:
? BA or BS equivalent in technical discipline such as Computer
Science or Engineering. MBA preferred.
? 5+ years experience in developing or managing high-tech
products, preferably with highly scalable software solutions, SaaS
solutions, and/or cloud computing solutions
