The Product Management team at Healthline serves as business owner for assigned products and projects. The Senior Product Manager helps develop product strategy and champions product development initiatives. S/he will monitor market developments, competitive activity, and product performance to ensure that products are competitively positioned, responsive to market opportunities, and tuned to customer needs.
The successful candidate will develop product concepts and identify business, marketing, and functional requirements for product improvements or new product features. S/he will orchestrate efforts across the organization so Healthline products perform against key objectives such as free traffic generation, user adoption, monetization, and partner value.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Initiate and champion research aimed at understanding customer needs, preferences, and practices, and at developing highly responsive, differentiated products and services.
- Document use scenarios and use cases, end-user profiles, as well as marketing (mrd) and functional requirements. Keep project documentation up to date and available throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product design and development colleagues in translating requirements into interaction designs and end products that delight users, satisfy use cases and requirements, monetize well and attract free traffic from major search engines.
- Define and uncover fixes, use cases and requirements throughout the product development life cycle, including optimizations to meet key objectives. Document issues using case tracking tool, and prioritize them to improve performance over time.
- Train internal groups on new product features upon initial introduction, and at other times as needed. Prepare product and market-related materials for sales and partner facing collateral and presentations.
- Monitor product performance against key success indicators using web analytics tools including adoption, utilization, satisfaction, and customer support burden.
- MBA or relevant master's preferred.
- Proficiency in web 2.0 products, search and social networking also preferred.
