About our Senior Product Manager position:
You will own and drive the product roadmap for next-generation marketing tools. You'll develop this roadmap by studying the competitive landscape, gathering feedback from users, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce and small business needs, and having great ideas. Really great ideas. Experience in medium-sized enterprise software will come in handy, as will knowledge of social media and marketing automation. Your product will affect thousands of small businesses and drive millions of bucks in revenue. Doesn't that sound like fun?
Responsibilities:
Define product vision and strategy for VR's roadmap and revenue generation strategy.
Understand the VR business holistically and interface with product leaders of other key areas.
Understand and analyze user needs through customer intimacy, market research, and data analysis.
Lead broad cross-functional teams to successful product launches, iterate quickly, and make fast decisions with all available information.
Own and love your products: obsess over details. Ask tough questions early. Specify and analyze metrics to improve revenues and drive innovation.
Requirements:
Relevant product management experience of 8+ years, including taking at least one significant business-software-in-the-cloud product to market in the last 3 years.
Experience releasing commercial software for medium-sized enterprises.
Experience in Agile development requirements for simple and intuitive user interfaces, ability to articulate examples through wireframes and mockups.
Highly analytical intelligence, qualitative or quantitative.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A love for social media.
Great to Have:
BA/BS from a top university, MBA a plus.
Have led or been a key contributor to a successful cloud software product launch.
Strong understanding of small business technology tools.
Power-user of top and emerging social, mobile, and web technologies.
