About the Role:
SoundHound?s Senior Product Manager will be responsible for planning and executing a defined product roadmap for various features of our globally-recognized, award-winning mobile application. Through creative design, they will be responsible for developing new innovative features that will significantly impact key metrics. As the product expert, they will provide direction, exhibit fresh thinking, and innovative product solving to drive product strategy, as well as corporate direction. Similarly, the Senior Product Manager will conduct and lead data analysis for product initiatives and will confidently present findings to the leadership team. We expect you to love what you do, and be driven to create innovative solutions to complex problems?all while experiencing the joy that comes with being a key-player on a wildly successful, highly-collaborative team.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in product management in mobile application development.
Ability to create wire-frames, product specifications and white papers.
An understanding of what users want and why
Experience with a mobile application or web based company managing web applications and multivariate testing is preferred but not required.
Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff
Creating compelling and addictive user experiences
Exceptional data analysis skills
Outstanding written/oral, organizational, and attention to detail
Must be a self-starter, a team player, and driven
Ability to motivate team, provide clear direction, and give insight on industry trends
BA/BS degree
Bonus Points:
Previous start-up, social networking and/or consulting experience
Past experience in managing teams
Strong passion for music
