In this highly visible and senior position, within the Product Management Team, you will be responsible for product management of Imperva?s Web Application Security product line. Working alongside R&D, you will apply your domain expertise and analytical skills to communicate market requirements to Engineering Teams, work jointly with Engineering to define technical product direction and features and will have ownership of the product roadmap for the Web Application Security product line. As the Spokesperson for the product line, with Internal and external stakeholders, you will work cross functionally with the Field Sales, Product Marketing, and Business Development teams to drive product success in the global markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
Continually refine organizational understanding of customer needs, competitive landscape, and technology trends
Identify and drive integration points with other Imperva products and third-party solutions
Plan and coordinate alpha and beta programs and customer visits
Provide strategic support for Sales and Marketing, including product and market training
Qualifications:
2+ years experience in a Product Management role, within Enterprise Software, ideally with expertise in Web Application Security and/or Network Security
Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions
Articulate- in written and verbal communication
Extensive experience documenting and presenting market analysis, research findings, strategic direction and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
Track record of success planning and managing product life cycles
Experience proposing and guiding research ? customer, market or competitive ? using techniques such as surveying and focus groups
Extensive experience and superior skills presenting to a wide range of audiences, including engineering teams, executives, customers, press and analysts
Willingness to travel 25%
Ability to work with a globally distributed, cross cultural team
