Senior Product Marketing Engineer (Audio) - 449 Tensilica

Assist with product and technical marketing / product management of Tensilica?s current and next generation audio DSP core and software solutions. This individual will contribute to all phases of product marketing ? including market and competitive analysis, requirements definition, pricing, coordination with development / applications engineering, product introduction, and tactical product support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and analyze market opportunities for existing Tensilica audio DSP core products
Identify new opportunities and define future product requirements for Tensilica?s audio DSP cores, software codecs, audio and voice enhancement software products and product packaging
Collateral development
Technical marketing support including collaboration with Field Applications Engineering and Development Engineering on system level analysis
Technical analysis of Audio HW/SW subsystem
Competitive analysis
Assist with partner development and management
Responsible for communicating internally and externally the value of Tensilica?s audio solutions
Assist in ensuring Tensilica?s success in winning design engagements

REQUIREMENTS:

5 or more years of total relevant work experience including 3+ years? experience in semiconductor or semiconductor IP marketing is required
Must have a working knowledge of microprocessor and Audio DSP hardware architectures and ASIC design implementation methodologies.
Knowledge of software development tools and methods, and system modeling tools and methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of Audio subsystem, Audio SW including API a plus.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
Periodic travel, including international travel, will be required
BSEE or equivalent required. MBA preferred.
