Senior Product Marketing Manager (Bilingual Japanese/English) GAIN Capital

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (Bilingual Japanese/English) to join our growing Marketing team and be a key stakeholder in the development and implementation of the product strategy for the Japanese market.

In this role, you will be a bridge between the marketing and development teams, to communicate the needs of the Japan market in order to improve the user experience of our Japanese trading platforms and tools. You will also be responsible for the development and management of new and existing product launch plans that include direct and indirect marketing, promotions, sales support materials, customer communications, and website updates.
Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for enhancing the user experience of Japanese language, including web and mobile trading platforms and other customer facing applications.
Conduct market research and compile competitive analysis; including online surveys to better understand customers' needs
Define scope and high level requirements for new products and product enhancements
Act as an HQ liaison between the Tokyo-based Japanese marketing team and corporate marketing, technology, and operations.
Work with Japanese marketing communication managers to provide product expertise, participate in product positioning & communication
Support internal sales and customer service teams through training and the development of sales tools and supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

3+ years in a product management or product marketing role at a software / technology company
Knowledge of and interest in financial markets, trading, technical analysis, etc.
Business-level fluency in Japanese language both spoken and written
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely detailed oriented, with strong cross-team collaboration & project management skills
Demonstrated analytical skills, with working knowledge of compiling data to conduct basic business analysis
Prior trading or online brokerage firm experience strongly preferred
Undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus.
