Who We Want:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager (Sr. PMM) role resides within the Product Marketing Team, which is a part of the Product Management Team within Bazaarvoice. The Sr. PMM will be responsible for representing the market needs of a particular audience to inform product strategy and go to market (GTM) plans.
The Sr. PMMs general responsibilities are to:
Develop and effectively communicate the ?Why?, ?What? and ?For Whom? requirements behind BV product offerings.
Provide opportunity assessments and market expertise to product development teams that ensure financially successful launches
Develop business case, recommendations and strategic prioritization for new offerings and features inclusive of competitive pressures, pricing, client readiness, partnerships, and various other facets of a superior strategic plan
Track market trends in social, marketing, digital advertising, mobile, as well as similar industries and be able to provide concise perspectives and summaries throughout the organization
Create Go To Market Plan for new features and products including strategy, content, collateral, training and campaign messaging
The Brands Sr. PMM responsibilities:
Marketers are controlling a greater share of the technology spend, which means it?s crucial for our product, sales and client services teams to deeply understand the organizational structure, key KPIs, buying & planning process, and trends for the brand marketer. We are looking for someone who brings first hand knowledge of how brand marketing and shopper marketing works at consumer packaged goods companies.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
MBA Strongly Preferred
3+ years of strong Post-MBA Industry or 8+ years of professional experience (individuals with Brand Manager or Shopper Marketing roles preferred)
Excellent strategic business acumen and ability to communicate with technical teams
Proven ability to manage high levels of complexity and function in a dynamic role with high demands
Must be able to communicate an informed opinion with confidence at all times
Ability to travel 20%
Takes ownership and accountability
Ability to interface seamlessly with cross functional teams: Executives, product management, engineering, sales and client services
