The successful candidate will own the business planning function for their vertical markets and be responsible for the promotion and messaging around DDN's industry-leading storage technologies across several of our HPC Market Verticals. This role will report into the Director of HPC PRoduct Marketing and leverage the larger marketing team as a services organization, and will be responsible for the creation and delivery of collateral and positioning as well as go-to-market tools for product marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be a marketing leader and a self-starter who acutely understands storage and HPC marketing within DDN's Big Data solutions portfolio.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Product marketing content creation for specific DDN platforms, including:
Core product feature/benefit messaging
Articulation of product benefits
Integration within a customer and partner ecosystem
Support of vertical solutions marketing opportunities (Examples include solutions briefs, case studies, white papers, customer presentations, public speaking, social media etc.)
Partner relationship/eco-system development
Oversee the content and ensure the frequency of demand generation initiatives
Participate in outreach programs such as webinars, local events, etc
Manage award submission and participation programs for key conferences & events -Participate in and create content for sales training
Qualifications for this role are:
Strong familiarity with the HPC marketplace and leading technologies, including application providers and integrators
Specific, deep experience and knowledge in one or more HPC Vertical Markets
Understanding of storage infrastructure and content-intensive applications
Knowledge of ancillary products and concepts such as servers, networking, virtualization, cloud
Strong familiarity with the competitive landscape and competitive offerings and product trends
10+ years of relevant experience in roles associated with product marketing in HPC, business development and/or sales
Experience in high growth sales and marketing organizations and a working manager attitude
Professional marketing skills including understanding how to develop positioning and messaging
Some travel will be required
