Senior Product Marketing Manager Audience

Job DescriptionThe Product Marketing position is a leadership group in the marketing team, managing a segment business for Audience's Mixed-Signal Audio System on Chip (SOC) platforms. Working closely with engineering, sales and product management, product marketing understands and prioritizes customer requirements, and manages product positioning to meet overall business strategy and goals. The product marketing position has the primary responsibility for a line of business at Audience including positioning, pricing, roadmap and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the core features of Audience audio and voice processor product lines through the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Owner of the product roadmap for the development of new Audience processors for a line of business.
Product pricing and management of business segment.
Work collaboratively with product management and engineering to specify market requirements for future products by conducting market research through on-going visits to customers and prospects.
Run early stage evaluation programs for new products.
Be the ?go to? expert for product positioning, competitive positioning and market knowledge.
Primary business representative to sales, distribution and customers.
Experience, Skills and Education Required
7+ years of experience in a job in system-on-chip and digital signal processors
Development or application engineering experience in embedded processing
Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing
Technical degree with Bachelor?s or greater
Experience, Skills and Education Desired
Experience in a job in mixed-signal system-on-chip platforms containing integrated audio ADC, DAC
Deep technical knowledge of on-chip data converters and on-chip audio amplifiers
Experience in the mobile telecommunications industry
MBA or equivalent business experience
Attributes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Understanding of audio signal processing algorithms
Must be able to travel 20% of the time
