TokBox is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to help launch and promote new and highly innovative WebRTC video services and solutions. The successful candidate has proven marketing experience with software-as-a-service, likes to work with leading-edge technologies, and is proactive in his or her approach to understanding the needs of customers, channel partners, and the developer community.
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive marketing professional who is eager to roll up their sleeves and begin contributing as soon as possible. A successful candidate has proven product marketing experience for hosted cloud services, is comfortable in a rapidly evolving technology space, and is an independent and creative thinker. We are looking for a confident, clear-thinking team player with a desire to get things done.
Manage the preparation for and launch of new WebRTC platform service offerings and solutions.
Develop positioning and pricing strategies to maximize new product traction
Produce and design product collateral pieces that clearly describe benefits, features, requirements, and specifications
Research competitive offerings and alternatives, and maintain an up-to-date knowledgebase of the competitive landscape
Work with our public relations agency to maximize the company?s presence in relevant print and online media outlets
Prepare for and participate in industry events to build awareness and excitement about our offerings
Support and help to maximize the effectiveness of the company?s social media outreach
Work with Business Development to maintain an ongoing objective understanding of the customer?s needs and point of view
Work with Product Management to understand roadmap and prepare for upcoming product release events
8 ? 10 years of software product marketing experience ideally with a focus on IP communications, platform offerings, or hosted software-as-a-service
Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Ability to create and analyze pricing models and alternatives
Thorough knowledge of web analytics tools and hands-on experience using them
Experience analyzing and optimizing trial-to-conversion lifecycle
Ability to deal with short-term priority changes while maintaining a long-term perspective on department and company objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing; other formal degrees considered depending upon relevance of recent work experience.
Experience with WebRTC
Technical skills such as an understanding of web development or basic coding ability
MBA with Marketing focus or similar advanced degree a strong plus
