Summary of Responsibilities
Author Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs), determining strategic and feature direction for next-generation product features, especially the software features concerned with data management
Help drive product roadmap determination and execution, with high level of engagement with engineering
Manage Panasas product lifecycle
Perform key role in product launches, owning or assisting with new product introductions, forecasting, revenue management, pricing management, end of life product management
Support the Sales organization: product training, competitive analysis, product positioning
Develop sales tools: customer presentations, white papers, collateral, website materials
Support corporate marketing as required, including with tradeshow duties
Experience/Qualifications
10+ years of increasing levels of responsibility in product management or product marketing.
Strong technical depth in computer hardware systems, file systems, data management tools, and networking.
Strong project management and presentation skills
An autonomous self starter able to move forward with minimal direction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Can travel 2-3 times per quarter for partner engagements, customer meetings, and events
Bachelor's degree (ideally in a technical discipline); MBA preferred
