Imperva Inc., the leader in Data Security, is looking for a high energy and customer centric Senior Professional Services Consultant, ideallylocated in the Eastern United States to join the Global Professional Services Team at Imperva.
This highly visible and impactful role will be responsible for on-site, post-sales consulting and product implementation, primarily focused on customers within North America. Beside deployment, the Senior Professional Services Consultant will engage in basic educational services, in both classroom and on-site environments, for Imperva customers. Imperva?s technology solutions focus on providing Data Security to its customers, through its physical and virtual appliance products. This will require Consultants to have a strong background in Database Security/Database Administration, Web Applications and Security, Vulnerability Assessments and Linux. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, capable of being highly productive while on the road, delivering quality service engagements and customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure that Imperva products are deployed and operating to meet customers? expectations
Provide customers with progress reports and other project documentation
Troubleshoot technical issues with the help of the Support Team
Skills and Experience:
This position requires strong technical skills and solid experience working with Internet Security, Networking Technologies and Relational Databases
Experience delivering training to post-sales customers and partners
Ability to scope, design, document and implement integration requirements
Self-starter and independent, but also able to work within a team environment, helping out when needed on various deployments
Able to accept constructive criticism and implement relevant changes
An aptitude for mastering new software applications
Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly, succinctly and accurately
Highly motivated, driven and passionate about technology, training and customer success
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills; at ease and comfortable working in a client environment
Able to plan for and deliver a project on a specific deadline
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in a Consulting or similar position
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls
Deep knowledge of Databases ? preferably MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL, DB2
Deep knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and VMware ESX
BSCS or equivalent experience
Experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of Web Servers such as IIS, Apache and Tomcat
Required travel (approximately 80%) within North America and Internationally when needed
Willing and capable of working from home
