Senior Professional Services Consultant Kapow Technologies

Kapow Software is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Professional Services Consultant to work within our Professional Services organization. The consultant will perform all manner of tasks to help deploy successful solutions, including installation, training, solutions architecture, configuration, development, testing and deployment, for customer engagements that may vary from a couple of weeks to a few months.

This role would ideally be located in one of Kapow?s East Coast offices in the United States ? Washington, DC, or New York City.
Responsibilities:

Work on implementation projects to support and provide solutions for Kapow?s 550+ customers.
Work with third-party technologies supplemental to Kapow, including content management systems, portals, BI tools, databases, and more.
Provide best practices advise on deployment optimization, performance tuning, and other uses of the software.
Perform customer and partner education and training sessions.
Occasionally work on internal IT projects such as developing Kapow solutions to meet internal and external needs.
Thrive in a startup environment and be willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Experience:

A relevant academic degree: BA or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a technical consulting capacity, either for a software vendor or systems integrator.
Excellent HTML, XML, SQL, and JavaScript skills.
Skills within at least three of the following technologies: Java, JSP, .NET, Content Management Systems, SaaS/Cloud application integration, ETL, SOA, or mobile application development.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience in dealing with geographically distributed work teams.
Open to approximately 50% travel ? mainly domestic but occasionally international.
