Senior Professional Services Engineer Aylus Networks

- The selected candidate will be a key hands-on contributor to support both pre and post sales activities for Aylus Networks Inc. Mobile Media Streaming solutions. The candidate must collaborate effectively with peers and SW engineers to learn our products and how to configure them in our lab test beds and customer sites. They will also work with the SW developers and product management to resolve the issues found in the Aylus products at customer sites and during the test cycle.- The selected candidate will also be responsible for developing test plans and test cases, execute the tests and interpret the results.
Responsibilities:
Lead the installation configuration, and upgrades of Aylus Products in the Engineering lab, Virtual Hosting Centers, and at customer sites.
Lead the troubleshooting of all hardware and software problems.
Assist in day-to-day meetings with customers as required.
Participate actively in functional and system testing activities
Analyze and report bugs, and work with software engineers to resolve them.
Participate in functional reviews, test specifications, documentation and code reviews
Design and develop test plans as required for lab testing and customers
Be part of a 24x7 technical support team as needed
Requirements:
BS degree in CS or Engineering, or 8+ years of experience, or equivalent professional work experience
Four or more years experience performing software integration and writing shell scripts.
Four or more years experience working with LINUX, preferably RedHat/CentOS Linux
Four or more years experience with networking and network security (IP Networks, SSL, Firewalls)
Experience in database administration and SQL
Experience with streaming video or video communications is a plus
Experience with telecommunication and VOIP is a plus
