We are looking for an outstanding Senior Program Manager to work on a core feature for healthcare. You will be a key part of the team working on the design and development of a high-visibility, forward-looking set of functionalities to help clinicians with faster, safer and more efficient access to information at the clinical point of care.
This position is located in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities:
Participate in planning and execution of a high-quality product ship
Participate in product spec reviews, design, triage, scheduling, and other product development processes
Improve quality and efficiency in team-wide development processes
Coordinate with development and test teams across multiple sites in Redmond, WA, Andover, MA, and Washington DC.
Write specifications
Strongly focus on features and design for a near term release, and for longer range product planning
Collaborate with multiple HSG groups and early adopter customers for a coordinated launch in 2012
Interact with customers and partners to validate and feed requirements to product development cycle to improve customer satisfaction and shorten customer time to value
Assist with market analysis to identify valuable differentiating features and opportunities
Demonstrate features to potential customers and in industry forums
Keep abreast of changes and features in the overall Microsoft stack and their impact to the product
Qualifications:
A BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
A minimum of post-degree 5 years of technical Program Management experience
Proven ownership and shipping of complex software features to external end-users
Excellent written and oral English communication and x-group collaboration skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to think strategically and tactically about the technical, business, cross-functional/cross-site development issues
Firm commitment to create high quality products
Empathy for customers and their needs
Experience and demonstrated success in an AGILE product development lifecycle environment
Prior experience with data modeling, WCF, WIF preferred
Coding proficiency in C# and debugging skills preferred, familiarity with Odata, JSON, XSLT a plus
Experience in the healthcare industry, healthcare data protocols, or CCOW is a plus
