Senior Program Manager
SAY Media is looking for a Senior Program Manager who will support our development teams and manage concurrent product development initiatives. You should have a proven background in implementing SCRUM across organizations and have extensive knowledge of best practises for optimizing developer productivity. You have proven experience in leading teams into the next evolution of their Agile process. You will also be responsible for managing team status, project schedules, cross functional dependencies, and inter-team communication. This is a full-time position located at our San Francisco office and will report to the Director of PMO.
Responsibilities:

• Assess SCRUM process gaps, recommend and implement fixes that'll measurably increase organizational productivity in a reasonable time-frame
• Evangelize and implement sophisticated SCRUM best practises across the development team. Enable teams to measure and improve their productivity on an on-going basis
• Manage a prioritized portfolio of web development projects, resource allocation on those projects and ensure their timely execution against stated goals
• Defining and enforcing processes around project intake, prioritization and change management. Leading various cross-functional ceremonies to support this process
• Devise processes that ensure progress on bigger projects without starving smaller requests given a constant resource pool
• Enforcing strict guidelines for priority changes, ensuring right trade-off decisions are made and clear communication around cost/benefit around changes. In this role, you should be comfortable in saying 'No' to senior stakeholders and be able to articulate the reasons objectively.
• Coordination with cross functional teams, ensuring teams are aligned and there's a healthy level of communication across the board
• Issue tracking and timely escalations, resource allocation, risk assessment and mitigation

Requirements:

• 5+ years managing multiple projects concurrently
• Prior experience in the PMO role working directly with senior stakeholders and leading cross functional teams on web based projects
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and experience in practicing SCRUM
• Strong working knowledge of Project Management and productivity tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interest in Web Development
