We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to help develop components and the SDK for the next version of Amalga that would enable developers to easily build end-to-end applications. If you like big challenges and building platforms that enable application development that results in dramatically impacting people's lives, and creates more efficient and better quality care for patients and their physicians, then this position is for you.
This individual will be responsible for driving from requirements to successful execution components of the Amalga development platform. This ranges from medical/health components on top of SharePoint that solution developers can use to enable end-to-end scenarios for enterprise and consumer audiences, to ensuring appropriate APIs are defined and delivered to light up target scenarios, to designing and shipping admin tools for serviceability of the Amalga platform. Individual will have to have a deep understanding of server side data flow/processing and have the ability to see the complete, big picture to drive requirements across all layers (end user, developer, IT admin, SharePoint components, VS and API experience, data ingestion and platform requirements, etc). This individual will also be responsible for release management for their feature area and engagement with other teams. Lastly this individual will assist in engagement with customers, partners and services team as we roll out next version of Amalga to services team, early adopter customers and ISV partners.
Responsibility areas:
Steward client facing health components and related controls from specification to successful release
Drive awareness of feature and user needs (end user, developer, IT admin as ?users?) across the platform and feature teams keeping the complete, big picture in mind
Successfully driving release management, working with engineering and business teams
Interacting with customers and the services team to resolve customer issues, implement products, etc.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has experience managing products through multiple development/release cycles, is creative, able to lead their team through ambiguity, has great verbal and written communication skills, and is passionate about building products that are robust and intuitive.
The ideal candidate has the following experience and technical background:
Feature PM experience for 3+ cycles with 5 years of experience.
Strong communication, organization, team-building and "driver/execution" skills .
Experience/familiarity with enterprise systems and, web applications.
Experience interacting directly with customers, and performing technical support to help troubleshoot in customer environments.
Experience/knowledge with SQL, web development required. Strongly prefer knowledge of SharePoint, Silverlight/HTML5, .Net, XML.
While experience in the healthcare domain is a preference, it is not a requirement. Experience with imaging, Azure/cloud or DICOM data connectivity considered a plus.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
