About the Job

Nexant is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Houston, Texas office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities to identify energy efficiency, load control, and distributed generation opportunities.
Write reports to summarize findings and to recommend energy efficiency measures at well as to calculate savings amounts and incentive payments.
Review project applications of utilities energy efficiency program for the savings calculations and eligibility for incentives of proposed equipment and energy efficiency measures.
Verify the baseline, the installation and operation of the new equipment. Communicate with subcontractors and clients to manage multiple projects, ensuring quality of deliverable and completion of project on time and within budget.
Participate in business unit management, marketing, and business development for Nexant?s Demand Management business unit.
Requires a master?s degree in mechanical engineering, building engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
Must also possess coursework or experience background in building HVAC system design and commission, building energy simulation, eQuest, EnergyPlus, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and building envelope.
