Senior Project Finance Analyst Tioga Energy

Tioga purchases, installs and maintains solar power systems on its client?s rooftops or property, and sells the electricity the
systems generate to its clients at long-term guaranteed rates through Power Purchase Agreements, or PPAs. PPAs have become
the leading way in which commercial-scale solar power systems are deployed in the United States.
Position Summary
Tioga Energy is looking for an experienced finance professional to be an integral part of the Project Finance Team. This role will
work with the team on financial modeling, deal flow management, and financial closings with equity and debt providers. Reports
to VP Project Finance.
Job Responsibilities
? The day to day activities will include these principal activities:
o Work as a member of the project finance team to analyze, refine, and optimize the project economics of the
solar projects developed by Tioga Energy.
o Manage deal flow process between sales team and project finance team.
o Support sales activities as necessary by preparing materials and participating in sales calls to communicate
project finance concepts
o Work with finance team and executive team to develop a variety of business analysis and forecasting tools
and models to integrate project finance with corporate accounting and planning
o Analyze economics of state and local incentive programs and recommend new market opportunities and
underwriting criteria
o Support the closing process for a variety of financing vehicles including Construction Debt, Project Equity, and
Project debt, including assistance with deal marketing, negotiation, documentation, and administration.
o Review, analyze and summarize various financing proposals from potential project investors
o Interface with operations and corporate accounting for ongoing asset management of installed portfolio of
power projects
o Actively improve financial models in terms of accuracy, flexibility and ease of use.
Specific Skills and Experience Sought
? Extensive experience with complex financial modeling in Excel, due diligence processes, and deal
negotiations/structuring.
? Knowledge of structured finance and tax-driven investments, preferably in the energy sector
? Mastery of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
? Experience with a start-up in a new industry preferable
Requirements
? A bachelor?s (or advanced) degree
? Minimum 3-5 years? experience in a relevant field
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Comfort working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
? Ability to learn new skills and be autonomous
? Must be passionate about finance and the renewable energy space
