What Problems Would I Solve?
Working within the Project Operations group, the Project Manager will act as the main project coordinator on a variety of custom virtual market research and technology projects for several Fortune 500 clients. This individual will oversee the project delivery process for one of our three largest account teams. He/She will work with key members of the InContext team including a Vice President of Business Development, a Senior Director of Research, Senior 3D Artists and our Technology team throughout the entire project lifecycle. They will be responsible for working across the company to drive projects forward. From scoping and proposal to delivery of results, the Project Manager sees it all. As such, this role requires a person that is equally comfortable developing and managing timelines as they are discussing client business issues and our solutions. Candidates must be ambitious and have the desire and ability to make a difference in a fast growing environment.
Who Would I Work With? Who Would I Work For?
The Project Manager will report to the Vice President of Project Operations. He/ She will be a part of the five-person Project Operations team. Day to day, he/she will work with various members of their account team, including senior members of the Sales, Research, and Technology teams. As a key member of the account team, the Project Manager must have a strong understanding of our clients? needs and how InContext?s solutions can help solve them. This person will work with our clients as if he/ she is a part of their company, exceeding expectations while delivering against a consultative project plan.
When will I start? What will I make?
Ideal candidates will be local (based in Chicago) and have availability to start a new full time position in the next 3-6 weeks. The interview process should take no more than 2-4 weeks from initial phone interview to offer letter. We are happy to discuss compensation including base salary, bonus targets and equity in the first interview.
Qualifications

3-7+ years of experience, managing complex projects in either a software or market research setting
Experience working with CPG (Consumer Package Goods), Consumer Electronics, Retail and/or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) end clients
Enjoys leading and is looked up to by their peers
Has a track record of success working with cross functional teams in a fast paced setting.
Has strong verbal and written communication skills
Has experience working directly with end clients and is comfortable in a client facing setting

Is intelligent and passionate about what they do
Is friendly and likeable. We wouldn?t hire someone we wouldn?t like to sit next to on a plane for 12 hours.
