POSITION SUMMARY& SCOPE:
Senior Project Manager with specific expertise in managing highly technical complex IT projects. This position is instrumental to the delivery of professional services and overall management of customer engagements utilizing AMP. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end to end project lifecycle coordinating professional services technical resources, interactions with customer points of contacts, as well as, the management of the financial details.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recognized as accountable for successful project delivery and financial management
Over see the deliverables, timeline, and budget of assigned projects
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure there is clear communication and ownership of project tasks
Demonstrate leadership in customer relationship management
Establish lines of communications with customer to communicate status, progress, issues, and recommendations
Create detailed project plans, oversee scheduling, tracking and status reporting
Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
Administratively track time reporting, project costs and resource plans
Provide guidance, direction and actionable feedback to the team members
Quickly recognize project issues and communicates challenges to senior management
Create statements of work, change requests, and other commercial documents for customer engagements as needed
? Coordinate mobility workshops with the customer in order to clearly understand the requirements and complete the necessary gap analysis
? Travel to customer sites during the course of each project
Minimum Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
? 5+ years of project management experience managing the delivery of enterprise software solutions for medium to large scale mobility, web or wireless application projects using a formal project methodology
? 5+ years working in a professional services or consultancy role
? Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of management and customers
? Ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines
? Ability to demonstrate capability to work with minimal supervision
? Has a ?does what it takes? attitude in accomplishing tasks desired to hit deadlines
? Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential
? Ability to travel to customer sites in North America Monday-Friday
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor's Degree
? Preferred Major: Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics
? PMI/PMP Certification a plus
