Senior Project Manager TerraTherm
This is a long term, contract position based primarily in Danang Vietnam scheduled to run through the end of 2016 with the potential ability to move into a permanent position, depending on company workload at the end of the contract.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of a multi-party US-Government funded thermal remediation project located in Danang Vietnam within strict budget and schedule timelines, to ensure compliance with contract and project commitments and goals.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Serve as on-site company representative and primary point of contact for Client and oversight contractor personnel, as well as major subcontractors. Represent company in meetings with Client, oversight contractor, subcontractors, and government agencies.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project including scope, plans, schedule, budget, and subcontractors.
Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Monitor and provide regular reports on progress of the project to company management and client representatives.
Coordinate and review documents and deliverables prepared for submittal to client. Ensure project documents and reports are complete, accurate, and in compliance with the contract.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members (including subcontractors) in a timely and clear fashion.
Responsible for oversight, management, and documentation of project quality assurance/quality control program and for periodic reporting to company management and client.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Manage project budget, monitor receivables, and notify management of any budgetary or financial concerns.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly invoicing, including detailed compliance review of major subcontractor invoices.
Accurately forecast and analyze revenue, expenses, purchase commitments, and billings and project margin.
Effectively communicate relevant project information to client and company management, through periodic written and oral reports, technical documents, contract compliance documents, and other communication means as necessary.
Identify and resolve potential issues and conflicts within the project, subcontractor or client teams.
Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise on-site project team members and subcontractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Provide direction and support to the project team.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
BS or MS in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline
MBA or PMP certification a plus.
Significant amount (8 years, minimum) of government contract project management experience, with project values of $10M-50M.
Experience actively managing subcontractors, project finances, and budgets within a Government contract environment.
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations a must.
USAID experience preferred.
Prior expat experience preferred.
