DESCRIPTION
Sr. PSR Tools Development Engineer serves as a hub for cross-functional projects for development testing, diagnostic, and serviceability features for Good Technology secure mobile collaboration solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Development features and standalone tools for producing, collecting, and processing key performance indicators (KPI) and SLAs.
? Development simulators and tools for functional, performance, scalability, and reliability testing and diagnostic.
? Maintenance and enhancement of legacy simulators, diagnostic and monitoring tools.
? Development capacity planning, diagnostic, and performance tuning toolkits for customers IT and professional services.
? Troubleshooting and resolving issues regardless if they are found in the network, tools, third party software, or the product itself.
? Producing customer facing technical reports, memos and design documents.
? Troubleshooting and resolving critical performance and reliability issues raised by customers.
? Sharing system administration duties for the Performance Engineering lab.
QUALIFICATION:
? Knowledge of C/C++ and Java
? Broad knowledge of internet and enterprise networking protocol
? Experience with core Microsoft technologies and Enterprise IT solutions
? Ability quickly navigate in a very large code base
? Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-tier environments, from a load balancer configuration to a C code statement
? Experience with enterprise IT monitoring tools and concepts
? Experience with Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Domino development, troubleshooting, and administration
? Experience with other enterprise messaging and collaboration solutions
? Working knowledge of UNIX
? Working knowledge of scripting languages and automation
? Knowledge of enterprise applications performance testing and monitoring methods and tools
? BA or BS degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience
