If you are the type of person who enjoys working with an expert team of QA engineers focused on automation over repetition, we want you. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be working with our core team of developers in an agile environment to introduce quality engineering into every step in the software life cycle. You will mentor other QA engineers, and contribute your expertise towards improving QA processes throughout engineering. You will be directly responsible for assuring quality on a small number of simultaneous development projects delivered against different schedules. You will be responsible for establishing and reporting quality metrics on a regular basis as well as maintaining a library of test plans.
You will be the Senior QA Automation Engineer in a small team of expert QA engineers, dedicated to automation testing. You should be able to demonstrate creativity in defining and reaching QA goals and has experience working in the code base to improve testability. You are an expert in the collection and correct use of quality metrics in risk management activities and you will be the central figure in determining whether a product is ready for release on multiple occasions.
Provide both technical and day-to-day leadership of automation efforts for all Lithium projects which entails leading through all phases of engineering automation projects including requirement?s collaboration, test architecture, test design, execution, and reporting
Define automation strategy, standard and best practices
Create, execute, and maintain Selenium RC JUnit/?Java harness
Specify, design and implement automated tests for features, customizations, reports and/or product fixes that involve Java backend, HTML and JSP frontend and other XML APIs and databases
Maintain a roadmap for QA automation, tools and test development
Analyze existing automation infrastructure, identify problems and create solutions
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
A bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical subject, including engineering, mathematics, the sciences, or philosophy
5+ years experience as a software quality assurance engineer in automation
Extensive experience with automated testing using Selenium RC with JUnit and Java
Hands-on experience with automation framework design at the architect level (keyword, data and test flow driven)
Experience working with web technologies, including HTML/CSS, web servers, or application servers
Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills
