Join our Software Engineering team as a Software QA Engineer who will work with the QA team to perform white-box, black-box and integration testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, design, create and execute white-box, black-box and integration test scripts and test plans.
Adhere to the QA process and methodology.
Work with QA team, software developers, and product managers to ensure the quality of the product.
Run acceptance tests, verify defects and imbalances reported by outside groups, and validate bug fixes.
Monitor the bug tracking database, track all their bugs, and follow-up on progress of their completion. Accurate, clear, reproducible results should be included in bug reports.
Be able to develop QA schedules and have a proven track record of consistently delivering to schedule.
Requirements:
5+ years of QA experience, preferably supporting multi-tiered web-enabled applications and systems
Expert experience with white-box testing, black-box testing and integration testing
Some experience with automation testing and automation tools
Experience with Windows, SQL Server, and .Net programming a plus
Experience with Bugzilla a plus
Expert experience writing test scripts, test plans, and working with project teams
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and concepts
Familiarity with the software development cycle
Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Strong problem solving skills
