Rearden Commerce is looking for a Senior or Principal Engineer - Quality to join the Platform Team. The Platform team builds high quality platform services which service the different 'Rearden Smart Applications'. We are looking for a champion of quality to work as part of the development team, driving quality across all stages of the SDLC from product design to production support.

• This person will write test cases that explore creative use cases to assure top notch quality. Test cases will consider security, load, stress, missing requirements, and missing use-cases.
• It's expected that manual functional testing be kept to a minimum, and that all test cases be automated using Voltage, our in-house Selenium / Python-based test automation system.
• Inspire and mentor other team members to assist with Test Case automation.
• This person will interface with the 'Voltage' team to influence feature development and prioritization.
• This person will be expected to gain and apply a deep expertise in Maven, Nexus, Hudson, and our production deployment system called Free Paas.

• The ideal candidate has 5-8 years minimum experience doing Quality Assurance or Quality Automation Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related
• The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in unit testing (JUNIT or TestNG), Linux, XML, JSON and HTTP; expertise in the use of Jira, Tomcat, Java, Oracle, and MySQL is also desirable. Programming experience in Java, Python, or equivalent OO language is a plus.
• Experience with Maven, Nexus, Hudson a plus
