THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As the Senior QA Manager, you will reinforce best practices, introduce and champion automation where it makes sense, and look for other operational efficiencies. You will also manage both internal and external QA resources for all of GSN Digital!
In this role, you'll get the opportunity to act as a coach and mentor for the QA engineers and be the voice of QA for the rest of the organization.? The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and have been hands-on programming or architecting technology solutions prior to finding their calling in QA.
Manage, motivate and develop QA team of 10+ team members (including internal and external QA resources)
Oversee technical proficiency and productivity of the team and the quality of project deliverables
Manage QA deliverables across multiple simultaneous projects on-time and against competing deadlines
Design, implement and lead testing strategies and overall QA processes
Advance our mobile QA methodologies and introduce test automation whenever possible
Manage contracts and relationships with external vendors
BS Engineering/Science, Mathematics or other technical discipline preferred
12+ years experience leading and managing a QA team
7+ years experience in desktop, browser-based QA testing
3+ years experience in mobile-device testing, e.g. iOS, android, kindle devices
Proven track record providing QA for products used at scale, e.g. millions of customers
Proven track record building high performance teams, conveying accurate resource capability & capacity, and improving operational efficiency
Proven successes in generating, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures, work instructions and testing procedures
Experience implementing and/or managing white box, grey box, and black box testing
