As our Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for Mobile Solutions, located in Broomfield, CO, your main mission will be performing a variety of complex testing tasks requiring planning, scheduling and testing to assure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards under minimal supervision. While we are focused primarily on Android applications, we also work with iOS, so your knowledge of software management and release processes for Google Play and Apple iTunes markets will make you an invaluable part of the team here. Working closely with this tight, local crew of developers, product managers, usability engineers and technical support specialists, you will provide essential feedback to eliminate defects within the product as early in the development process as possible. Clearly, this is very much a hands-on role, where you will leverage or develop your experience in participating in all phases of the project, from review of requirements and design to final system testing and launch, developing manual test cases and test products, rendering detailed defect descriptions and support materials into the defect tracking system. In addition, it is also mainly a manual test environment now, using Java to create the test scripts, but if you have experience with automated testing, this will be utlized, as we are moving in that direction and would value your input. As a professional, you are staying abreast of industry-wide changes in technology, programming techniques and new tools being used in the QA field anyway, so put it to use here as we further develop our testing department and seek to continuously improve our development workflow.
